Granddaughter's Sled
In "Granddaughter's Sled", the village in which the towns people live in have a quite tragic tradition. When one becomes too old of age to work, he or she will be carried out to the woods by sled and were left to die. So one day, when Ivan, was on his way to bring out his father to the woods, his daughter interrupts his doings and asks if she can come along. He said yes but with no more interruptions. So when they reached the woods, Ivan's daughter realized what was happening. So to give perspective to her father, she note that one day she too would be carrying out her father by sled to the woods, where he would be left to die. He then realized that that wasn't what he wanted, so he agreed to bring his father back to the village, but has to keep him a secret. A famine later swept through, and he was the only one with enough wisdom to save the village. When the villagers discovered he was still alive, they were thankful he was because they would have all parishes if it wasn't for his advice. Now, the elderly are welcome to stay in the village.
