Simon Wiesenthal
After reading the article about Simon Wiesenthal, I felt like even though he was considered to be a ‘good guy’ I couldn’t agree with his methods. It was like the tables had turned and now the Jews, in hope of revenge, are hunting down the Nazi’s and ordering genocide on them. Do they deserve it? Probably. But anyone who has survived a concentration camp should know that murder is wrong. I can’t blame Wiesenthal, if I was him I would have done no less then seek out the Nazi’s and demand justice. But there is a part of me that thinks no matter how badly the Jews and other racial or ethnic groups were treated; there is no just cause for murder. Wiesenthal didn’t execute them himself, but everyone in war is a criminal. Are you just going to kill all the people involved? I know our country is one of the ones who value their military so much, but it’s hard to think some of those soldiers who have come home have killed human beings. Nothing about war is fair.
