We Cater to White Only

Another segregation photograph. It makes me mad every time I see a picture like this because I could not imagine living in a world today where people are treated based on the color of their skin. Sadly, some of those old feelings have not gone away. I wish someone had been there hundreds of years ago when the first people kidnapped Africans and brought them back as slaves to say “No, no. This is a bad idea. Don’t do it.” I really wish someone had said that, and I even more wish that the slave traders would have listened to them. It hurts my head to think of how many years we have wasted trying to give everyone the equal rights they deserve, when they should have had them to start with!
