Cultural Background; Shirley Temple

Shirley Temple was a child star in the 1930's. She gave hope to the public during the depression. I find this very inspiring. To have a young girl give many pepole hope during bad times is very inspiratiopnal. SHe was extremely famous and was in many movies. She grew up and got adult roles and she even got into politics at an older age. Entertainment was big in the 1930's because TV's became more popular and people connected through watching stars.
