Fields

This picture of black men working in a field is kind of sad to see because it's a reminder of how unfair it was for black people and how low the quality of life for them was at one point. This field is really big and I imagine that the few people shown had to take care of harvesting most if not all of the field by themselves which must have been incredibly difficult work. The ground in the photograph is cracked and appears dry so I imagine that the weather was really hot and these poor men had to endure the heat in the fields to complete their work, or who knows what would happen to them. It's horrible what people went through before there were equal rights for all and tragedies like slavery were put to an end
