Rosewood Massacre

The Rosewood Massacre was a terrible event because it was started all because of an accusation and ended up hurting lots of people. Buildings were destroyed, black people had to leave their homes so they wouldn't be hurt, and at least 8 people were killed. Violence was aimed towards black people, even though the person accused of the crime wasn't even known. The people killed might not have even have heard what the crime was about. The massacre was unfair, and showed how racist people could be.
