As I skimmed through all the news prints and updates, I realized how chaotic our world really is. Every article I came by was surrounded by depression, hurt, and death. One that stood out to me was an article about a three day protest in Kuwait. The Times Union and News Vine news both tell of a Kuwait parliament speaker who is trying to appeal the never ending protests. What are these protests about? Descendent's of desert nomads who are demanding citizenship and all the generous benefits that follow. Hundreds of Arabs all gathered in protest to prove themselves as citizens. Although the protesters are continuing to fight for their desired rights, the ruling emir is urging for a cease to their demands. Enraged, the protesters pushed perhaps too far. Police fired tear gas into the crowd in attempts to silence them. But they continued to seek access to desires of things like free health care and jobs, considering most have no jobs or homes and will continue to fight until they reach a compromise of some kind.
