The first thing I noticed about the picture was how dry they soil was. It looked like it had been taken during the time of the Dust Bowl when the topsoil became mostly dust and sand. The Dust Bowl took time right around the Great Depression, which did not end until World War II began in the 1940’s. This picture doesn’t really stand out to me too much, other than showing farmers at work.
