Will Our Summer Be Gone?
The school year last for 180 days, from September to June. Will it go to 110, cutting our summer in half? Why is this even considered a possibility for the kids of the U.S.A.? That's because our President claims that the only way to compete with foreign kids for jobs and paychecks, is longing our school year out through July, or longing the school hours. This is just not right to kids here. What will happen to our sports if our day in school goes longer? Will after school activities be a possibility if school goes to 4, or 5, or even 6 o'clock? Our summer will be gone soon if he longs the school year. We work 180 days and change in school just to find ourselves in summer, freedom. We will have less to time to spend with friends and family. Less time to do sports or other clubs. Won't this cost more in our country for every school in the country to go on for another month? There are issues of longing the school year, including for the students themselves. It's just not a good idea.

THIS IS TOTALLY REDICULOUS!!! i will NOT come to school ever if it has to go to like 6!! thats just rediculous! we have other things after school that we have to do! then you have homework! and you have after school sports and then you have no tome to do anything!!! thats soo stupid!! kids would have no time to do anything. then they couldnt do their homework. then they would fail. so then whats the point? there isnt! obama is messed up in the head if he thinks kids want to go to school till 6:00pm. then the school would have to serve dinner. and at my house, we always sit down asa family for dinner. being in school fer dinner would suck. me personally i would drop out of school. electing obama was a mistake. he was favored because he was black and everyone thought having the first black president would be nice, NOT! i didnt want a black president in the first place. we should have chose anyone else besides him. a 2 year old would run a better country then him!
