The Five People You Meet in Heaven

My favorite book of all time would definitely have to be The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. This story is one that makes you think. Basically, a elderly man named Eddie is working at an amusement park, when a ride breaks down, endangering lives. He gives his own to save the life of a little girl. His journey to heaven consists of meeting five people that had a significant impact on Eddie's life. These people vary, from the man who ended up dying from a stroke while avoiding young Eddie running out into the road, to Eddie's beloved wife, Marguerite. I love the fact that this is a book that makes you realize that even the smallest moments in life have a lasting effect on you. There are flashbacks throughout Eddie's epiphanies that prove everything happens for a reason. The entire book is entertaining, and although it is sad at some parts, it is definitelty worth reading.
