banned books

For classics such as of mice and men,harry potter and even captain underpants to be challenged and attempted to be banned, in general, is slightly over exaggerating. However I wouldn't want my 9 year old sister reading a book about some serial killer slaughtering people, so i do support "restrictions" of certain books to younger childern that could interpret some of the books the wrong way, or if the books are just innapropriate... so to sum it up i think that all books should be in open circulation, but i thinks that its ultimately up to the parents to choose whether thier child can read a certain book or not.
