Banned Books

Many books have been banned over the years. One book that has been banned is the classic book, Huckleberry Finn, which if you ask me, I think is rediculous. It has been said that this book is "trash and suitable only for slums." That is a very stupid statement and is mainly an opinion. They also said that "Huck not only itched but scratched," and that he said "sweat" when he should have said "perspiration." Although i think that these are obsurred statements to ban a book, i guess they are ok reasons for other people. The conclusion of banning books is probably the dumbest thing someone could do because of the freedom of speech that we are allowed to have.
