America vs. The World: Education

I fully support what Obama wants to do. America needs an education reform. Because we are behind other countries, American companies and businesses are repeatedly hiring non-American workers. Which is because they have more education than Americans. Which is because school is too short (blasphemy!). However instead of changing the length of the year, we could lengthen the day, or possibly just get the other states that are behind, such as Arizona, Texas, etc. up to speed with the other states such as Connecticut or Vermont. At the end of the day America needs to wake up and get ahead.
