who wants an 8 week summer?

With the issue of obama extending the scool year i feel slightly intimidated because of the possibility of having an additional month of school, obama argues the point that the extra month would be invaluable ,and that the rapidly developing countries such as india and china are rivaling our education levels .. there are also many valid arguments againsed the prospect.. in contrast im just waiting to see what happenes.
