Personally, I don't think that books should be banned. People should be able to read what they want to when they want to. Books should never be banned from public libraries or schools because communities and schools should be able to choose what they would like to read. Banning books from younger readers is mostly an effort to shield young readers from the real world but kids need to know about the real world so that they can find out how the world works. Young readers should need permission from their parents to read certain books but other than that young readers should be able to choose what they want to read.
