Banned Books

I do not think it is right that some books are banned. People can not be forced to read a book so if someone does not want to read the book they do not have to. Most of the books on the list are banned or challenged because of profane language, but some of them were written a long time ago when the language was more appropriate. I do not think that books should ever be banned, even in public libraries and schools. People should be allowed to read anything they want and if the book is inapproriate for children their parents should keep them from reading them. If libraries are really concerened about children reading something that is inapproriate they can put a sticker on the book, marking it as a banned book.
