The best story ive ever read was If You Come Softly By Jaqueline Woodson. It was a story about two people who meet, feel an instantaneous connection, and fall in love with each other, despite the dissaproval of their parents, and the descrimination they feel towards them. You see, Ellie, is white, and Miah is black. They both come from different circles, and end up together. The story is happy, sad, and poignant. Its a metaphor for how we live and what we should strive to live like. The story sends a message about love, light, and living life to the fullest, because life is way too short to let it pass by.
Doesn't one of them die at the end? If so, sounds like Romeo & Juliet.
