Simon Wiesenthal
What Simon Wiesenthal, and others, went through during the Holocaust was horrible and extremely unfair. It is similar to how black people were persecuted, except it was mostly because of religion and was a hundred times worse. Instead of being afraid, after he was released and gained back his strength he worked to make sure the nazis that did these crimes got punished for it, and people would know that you can't do something like this without getting in trouble. Even though nazis were caught, that doesn't mean the people who were killed because of them will ever come back. Things like the Holocaust and racism were terrible, but it is important to remember them so we don't do things like them.
