Granddaughter's Sled Response

In this story, the elders of the village are taken out into the woods where they either starve or are killed. This is really horrible. Then the daughter tells the father that she will need the sled to carry him into the forest. THEN the father changes his mind. I think this is really selfish of him. Anyway, they hide the grandfather in the house. When a famine spreads into the village, the grandfather tells them to plant the grain on their rooves. Then they accept old people. This was a dumb story.
