Where's the white people? I... I don't see any. Oh wait, they are probably sitting down having themselves a smoke. What is the reason they can't be doing their own work? I mean, they purchased the land. Nobody forced it upon them to buy a certain amount. Buy what you can handle and work on from there. You have a family, no? Have them come to your assistance. It's irritating to know that this was how life was when we weren't around. It's depressing. You can only look at pictures and learn, but can never changed how people treated one another. Slavery had one purpose, to make the life of a white family even essier than it had to be. How would you feel if someone gave you a price tag, then put you up for auction? Then having the feeling of being purchased. I can imagine it only being far from pleasant.
