British Airways- Employee Terror Plot

A British Airways employee was charged with four terror related charges, including the attemp to blow up an aircraft. Thirty-one year old, Rajib Karim used his position as a software engineer for BA to pass information to Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Yemen. Karim was arrested last year and admitted to offering himself for terrorist operations. Prosecuters are saying that Karim had passed down information that would be useful to terrorist groups plotting to blow up a plane. They are also saying information was given that would be used to help plot a "disruptive" cyber attack on BA. The police in England took awhile to break encrypted messages on his computer. Karim had been discovered to have had contact with Alwaki who is accused of having links to the attempted bombing of a plane flying over Detroit during Christmas of '09. The fact of the matter is, Karim took advantage of the UK and was planning on returning no favor to them. Instead, he was funding for terrorist groups and was contributing his time to the organizing of airline bombings. This is wrong and a true problem the world is facing. Many extremist groups are becoming more and more powerful and with new control in Arab countries, who knows what's coming next?
