Cultural Background of the Time

Actors and Actresses back in the 1930’s were a lot different than they are now. Now there are so many that it’s hard to keep track and they come out with about 2 movies a week. Back then, movies didn’t come out that often, but they were very good. Whenever I watch a classic movie, it’s easy to understand because the plot is simple. Now, movies have plots that I don’t understand until the movie is over. Those movies are classics and I can still find them on TV today, unlike most movies of our decade. These actors were very good and funny and brought a lot to the movie screen. They were acting during the hardest times, The Great Depression, and still managed to entertain people.
