Dorothea Lange

This picture is a closeup of a woman, baby and child from the other Dorothea Lange picture. They look dirty, tired and sad. The woman looks like she is trying to find a way to get her family a better life, but can't. She is 32 years old, but looks a lot older in the picture, probably because of all that she has gone through. Also, if you read the description, she has 4 more children than you could see in the first picture. They had to sell their tent to buy food, but what will they be able to sell after when they finish the food? In the first picture they looked alone, but there are actually 2,500 people living in the camp with them also in the same predicament. Unfortunately, it isn't just their camp. People all around the country had to live like this, barely being able to support their families. Luckily, we can remember this and think of new farming methods and ways to control the economy so a depression like this doesn't happen again.
