As I read the list of banned books, on thought repeatedly comes to mind: get a life people!
Okay, I understand, you wouldn't want a six-year-old reading just anything, but other accusations are really out there, like Winnie-the-Pooh. Winnie-the-Pooh? What is so mentally corrupting to the point of affecting children forever about Winnie-the-Pooh?
'The Lord of the Rings' is banned because it is supposedly Satanic. If you think that 'The Lord of the Rings' is supporting Satan-worship, you missed the point.
The best accusations are those on foul language. These self righteous people obviously haven't heard a conversation between average teenagers in the past 50 years.
If a book is blatantly advocating violence, go ahead, ban it. Otherwise, stop trying to be the thought police.
